I wish to thank you for all of your free patterns for hats. They have been so helpful for my group and well written, easy for my begining students to follow, and beautiful as well.

  2. Catherine Nightlinger says:

I have been told by Arkansas Childrens Hospital to make all the Chemo hats in adult sizes (21-23 inchs diameter) because their heads often swell from the chemo. Others might want to know about this if doing hats for charity. Our group (Bryant Senior Crochet Circle) has now done over 400 hats in the last year for chemo patients. I am so proud of all my ladies!

    • The Firefly Hook says:

      Catherine,
Thank you so much for stopping by and for the great advice! We should all keep that in mind for those kiddos. 400 hats is strong work! Tell all your ladies they are wonderful.

      Warmly,
      Abbey
